About ACTS Press 

“We have preserved the deposit which was entrusted to us,” writes St. Athanasius the Apostolic in his defense of Orthodoxy to the bishops of Egypt (To the Bishops of Egypt 1.11). And so ACTS Press seeks to preserve, publish and distribute the deposit of faith from the hand of our Lord Christ Jesus to the Apostles to the Fathers and now to us, His bride the Church.

ACTS Press is the publishing arm of the Christian Education Department of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Los Angeles, which includes the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Theological School (ACTS). Through its various imprints, ACTS Press publishes Christian Orthodoxy in all forms, for all ages and readerships and on all subjects. ACTS Press publishes original works as well as translations of Patristic and contemporary writings into modern English in all areas—theology, history, liturgy, ecclesiology, ecumenism, hagiography, iconography, spirituality, patristics and biography. ACTS Press also produces children's books, coloring books, calendars, posters, stickers and other supplements to to Christian Education Department Sunday School curriculum.
